My Experience with the SQDC

With the holidays in full swing, I had some time off work and my normal routine. I decided to spoil myself and pick up some cannabis from the SQDC website. Here is my experience with the SQDC.

Even though I wasn’t running low on herb, I decided to treat myself with something new for the holidays. Legal weed! I just wanted to see what all the fuss is about. At the same time, I wanted to experience what I technically should be doing when procuring my cannabis, in other words, buying it from the SQDC. On the other hand, I wanted to see for myself what I would get from the SQDC and compare it to that of my “friendly neighborhood pharmacist”.

I checked to make sure what payment options the SQDC accepts, and noticed that they accept prepaid credit cards. Therefore, I opted to use a $50 prepaid card that I bought from the corner store for my purchase.

To start, there was not much selection on the SQDC website. I guess due to the shortage. As a result, I was pretty much limited to just a few options in terms of dry herb. That’s what I was looking for. I really wanted to get my hands on some sativa or even a hybrid. After looking at some of my options and compared prices, I settled for 1 gram of Banana Split from Aurora Cannabis, and 3.5 grams of Helios from HEXO. Total cost with shipping $37.05. After both products were in my cart, I proceeded to check out.

The process was pretty smooth, the usual required shipping and payment information. Once completed, I received an order confirmation via email along with an order number. Initially, the email started with the normal “thank you for ordering” greeting and that your order is being processed. It continues, “Due to the high number of orders, delivery could take longer than anticipated”. I was not really surprised. Either way, I was in no hurry.

At this point, I’m pretty excited. I’m excited that I was able to purchase weed legally over the internet. In short, the only thing left to do is wait for my order to arrive, stay tuned!
