Banana Split Review
My recent purchase from the SQDC included some Banana Split. In this article, I will be doing a Banana Split review, talking about my first impressions and experience while smoking this strain of cannabis.
Banana Split Information
Banana Split is a Sativa dominant hybrid strain. It’s a cross between Banana Sherbet and Tangie. The lineage of Banana Sherbet is quite unclear. However, Tangie is a remake of the popular version of Tangerine Dream that was sought-after in the 1990s. The genetics on this strain is a cross of California Orange and a Skunk hybrid. Its citrus heritage is the most evident in its refreshing tangerine aroma.
Banana Split has a great fruity and sweet aroma. It offers a clean level-headed high, suitable for anyone looking to have a productive day. It may give the impression of experiencing stimulating sensations, having more energy and feeling a physical heaviness.

Banana Split Review
Banana split is a great strain. Its aroma is very fruity with a hint of citrus and banana. At first glance, Banana Split is dark green with a hint of purple on the tips. I decided to first taste this strain using a bong. The first hit was very smooth. I can definitely taste the fruit notes as well as hints of sweetness. Two hits later, I could already feel the effects. It was a mellow high. I felt the mixture of the mellowness of an Indica, and the energetic feel of a Sativa. I would characterize it as a mellow productive high.
The next morning, I woke up had my cup of coffee and decided to roll a small joint; WAKE ‘n’ BAKE! After a few tokes, the effects slowly crept in. You can definitely feel the effects of both the Sativa and the Indica in this. It has a nice upper but keeps you in that nice relaxed state of mind. Something you can smoke in the morning that won’t put you back in bed. I loved it!
When I was done, I had the sudden urge to take the dog for a walk!
Check out the packaging images, as well as close-ups of the buds below.
Overall, Banana Split is a great daytime strain. It offers the relaxed vibe of an Indica, and on the other hand, you get that little boost from the Sativa. I hope you’ve enjoyed this banana split review as much as I did trying this strain.
