Edibles Will Be Legal In Canada

Will edibles ever be legal? Have you tried any yet? As we all know it, cannabis was legalized last october 2018. This time, Canada is planning to legalize edibles no later than october 17, 2019.

According to the company The Arcview, by 2022, the edibles industry is expected to be worth $4.1 billion in Canada and the United States.

Have You Tried Edibles?

Edibles can be really tricky, if you‘re a light smoker, it suggested to not eat to much of it. If you are that person and you end up eating more than you should, you might feel like you‘re dying. Not a great feeling to call 911 and say that you‘re dying from eating edibles! Rest assured! you’re not dying!

For heavy smokers, now when I say a heavy smoker, I mean at least a 3.5 g and more a day. You might eat two or three gummy bears and not feel it at all. As much as you might eat that amount and feel super high! Try to take it slow, start with three gummy bears or half a cookie, let‘s say wait an hour or two, if you don‘t feel it eat more! As heavy smokers, it might not hit us right away because we have a bigger tolerance to marijuana.

Now, of course I am speaking by experience. I personally, smoke enough weed daily. I have tried edibles myself and never felt it till today.

My Experience With Edibles

I have tried many edibles and have seen many people intake. We all react differently. I have tried lollipops, gummy bears, cotton candy, and none of the above gave me an affect. Like I mentionned above, I do smoke a lot of weed, I mean 7-10 joints a day. Maybe that‘s why?

Although, once I tried some gummy bears with my friends. Out of the three of us, I smoke the most. I once again did not feel it, I needed a joint after two hours to feel high. My other friend felt some heaviness on her eyes and felt relaxed but not more than that and she rarely smokes. My third friend who smokes when offered, got really high! Not only did she get a nice high but it lasted for at least three to four hours.

All that to say, since edibles will be legal in Canada this fall, it‘s important to know your tolerance on weed and not to get to excited and eat the entire bag. Let‘s face it, it‘s easy to end up eating all your edibles, at the end it‘s food! So, Be careful and stay lifted!
